Great AoE grind spec here
I've tried pretty much all there is, my respec is almost up to one gold.
I was very depressed since hitting the 60s because I felt that my DT was getting weaker.
I used to level in the 50s by using masochism but early 60s I couldnt take enough mobs on me and survive for sadism to stack up and to top it off everyone on the forums kept bashing the feat.
At 65 I gave up and said screw that and decided to give masochism and sadistic vengance a try. Oh my.. I'm back to loving this character.
I'm currently 68 and every pull grants me a whole bubble worth of exp, 15 to 20 mobs in the aztel camps of 67-69s near the bridge.

I sometimes have it to go up to 6-7 when fighting single mobs that I drop in two combos. I also developped a very good strategy to pull the whole camps. Here's the details:
You want to have CoV+infusion
1. Chug stam+hp pot
2. Gather as many mobs as possible while starting your leech life combo.
3. Once your hp is begining to drop under 70% sadism WILL already be at 10, by then you should have 10-15 mobs.
4. Unload your leech life combo on one of them then run to the middle of the horde.
5. Stun them all using Mind shatter.
6. Pop your highest mystical bane into as many as possible. Then right as mind shatter runs off, use Mind Wrack into the ones that are in your back.
7. Guess what, your health is back to full...
8. Finish them off with another leech life + lower rank mystical bane
9. Enjoy the 30k+ xp
This spec really allows you to last hordes and hordes while sadism slowly brings them down to the point where one mystical bane will kill them. It allows us to reach the highest possible leech % while also giving us great dps and CC.
For pvp it doesnt quite have the burst of CoA and unholy strength but it still provides the CC and good burst. Heck I won a 2v1 verus a barb and an assasin, because they failed to burst me down when the barb pushed me back, after a few seconds in the fight sadism was at 10 and it stayed there for the whole fight, theres no way they could kill me with the ridiculous ammount of life I was leaching and my sadism countered their pots, so they were left with no ways to regen at all.
